Building a brand will save you money

This week, I enjoyed reconnecting with a passionate entrepreneur. Their company has an exceptional product that perfectly aligns with their target market, and they've laid a strong foundation for their brand.


In a previous conversation, they shared their experience with an agency's recommendation to launch a Meta campaign (the agency's specialty). While not inherently unreasonable, it was far from the silver bullet they were led to believe.

Brands are so much fun! I've spent a career creating, developing, redeveloping, and championing them. I still believe (despite frequent claims to the contrary) that they are the essential element that connects with an audience. Marketing may attract them, but the brand motivates people to choose you.
